The photo at left, was sent to me by a visitor to this site, few people have seen it. The demilitarized USS Oregon arrives in Portland Ore for the1925 Rose festival, her future home as a naval museum. On board are dignitaries, and festival Queen Susan and her court.
Oregon is tied up at East end of Broadway bridge.
